You may tell me,
I don’t like to read or write.
I’m not a very reflective person.
Okay. You’re reading articles online? Posting about your life on social media? Sharing a whimsical quote that sparked an idea in you today?
I think you’re more than you say you are.
Burnout is a psychological, as much as it is a physical process. I don’t think you want to cut out your brain and ‘fix’ it.
That’s why the next best step is to look within, ask questions of it, and act on what you realise.
It doesn’t have to be a 360 degree shift in thinking. It just needs to be a single moment that makes you think different. Feel different.
Act different.
When you expand that moment, that’s when you start having a different relationship with burnout.
Burnout is not an experience. It’s a relationship.
Burnout is like a spoilt child that’s demanding your attention. It makes you tired. You want to get rid of it.
But when you cannot, you can have a different relationship with it.
One Day at a Time is here to help you have a different relationship with it.
