‘Seeking to spark the most potential within you per word of any online newsletter’

If you want to start something today, I’m here to encourage you to go all the way for it.
But before you do that, I want to discourage you as much as possible. Because you should quit and get a job, if you can’t deal with rejection, being poor, and most importantly, failure.
It’s going to be really difficult. People think of the upside of entrepreneurship, but not much about the downside.
You’re treated like trash. Just today, as I was working in a supposedly restricted area, someone came by to chase me away.
That’s the reality of building something from scratch.
Building something is standing at the edge and testing the limits. If someone says something can’t be done, you test it. You’re not welcomed. You’re disliked for pushing the boundaries.
You’re poor. You’re constantly scrambling for money. You don’t know where to find it. You learn to sell everything, even the clothes on your back.
If you don’t want to be that snake-oil salesman, don’t start something.
So you might ask, why persist in starting something?
For me, it’s because I rather fight and go out with a bang, than sit in my seat, angry at all the things that can’t be done because of company bureaucracies. Sure, it may be much easier to sit and collect a paycheck regardless of whether you’ve done a good job.
What about you? What would you do?

No need to think so much about starting something. Just start it. It doesn’t call for crazy hours. Just sleep an hour later. Work an hour more on your side-business. See if people even want the thing you are trying to sell.
And stop watching inspirational YouTube videos on starting businesses. Your time might actually be better spent learning by doing.
